[3D] Image modeling
In this tutorial I will try to explain a modeling technique in which you start with an image and then adding geometry based on what you see in that image. It is like displacement maps but now you are doing the displacing.

Normally you start with modeling your object and adding textures after that. Image based modeling is not a general modeling technique. In this tutorial we will be modeling a somewhat flat surface but this technique can also be used with other shapes, as long as it has an image mapped on it.
